Roland was in the bishopric and Susie was a counselor in RS when we moved in to the ward. They were kind and welcoming to our family. Jordan quickly made friends with Jonathan. We felt included. It has been refreshing to see Susie's and Roland's dedication to each other and their family. The Roland Trump family has been an inspiration to us. We will miss Roland at church each Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Thanks for being such a great example.

Roland will always be a great friend. Our "lunch" meetings were just an excuse to share our thoughts and beliefs about everything and anything. I will miss his infectious smile, gentle ways and Christ like example. Thank you for sharing him!

Suzie:

We used to be your neighbors across the street on 7th East in Centerville many years ago - when we were all young and just starting our families.
You may not remember us, but we noticed Rolands obituary and wanted to express our condolences to you & your family. Our memories of you & Roland are fond. Our prayers are with you and your children.

Mother told me often of the wonderful family that Susan and Roland had. Time and distance came between us knowing you well. I am so sorry to read about the loss of your sweet companion. I send my love and admiration to you.

Roland was truley a man everyone could look up to. He always made you feel loved. He was giving in every aspect of his life. He was a joy to be around and mentored many boys to manhood. Roland will be missed by all, but we thank him for sharing himself with us for a short time.

A friend and neighbor
